- What’s the journey been like

Segment (the whole show)
We’ve been on 100.7 The Point since August of 2018. We could spend this episode taking a long and winding road through all those weeks and months and years of content. But we decided to not make it about the show, we’d rather make it about ourselves. So here are some prompt questions we plan to discuss and answer but as it’s a self indulgent shenanigans day, we can’t promise we’ll stick to them:
- When, where, and how did your writing career begin?
- What were some major milestones for your writing career?
- How have you improved as a writer over the years?
- What milestones have you yet to achieve that you hope to?
- What does writer success look like for you?
- Who is your favorite writer (living or dead)?
- What writer would you like to meet and have a beer with?
- What BIG writing mistake did you make and are now embarrassed of?
- What’s your favorite part of the writing process?
- What advice would you give someone planning to start their first novel?
We wouldn’t have made it this far without the generous support of Keven Cohen and 100.7 The Point. This station really has allowed us to grow and learn over the last 300 episodes and we’re so grateful to Keven for keeping us on the air.
We are also so, so grateful for the South Carolina Writers Association and its continued patronage of the show. SCWA brought the two of us together in Ginny Padgett’s Columbia II chapter so many years ago. It has been a constant for us, through chapter meetings and conferences and leadership and learning opportunities. SCWA really has given us so, so much. We’re so blessed and grateful to them.
Thank you to all of our Patrons. We can’t keep the lights on without you. So thanks for giving your monthly thumbs-up to what we’re providing and thanks for believing in our show.
