On December 14, 2024, Kasie and Rex took on inquiries from the internet. Here are the show notes:

The first thing I saw when I went to X this morning to find our inquiries was, “What was a fact you were taught in school that has been disproven in your lifetime?”
Some of the answers were, “the food pyramid” and “you’re not always going to have a calculator in your pocket.” Ha!
Here are some more writing-related inquiries:
From @JMSImpsonauthor: Old friend was “taking time out to maybe write a book. I asked him how it was going. Him: ‘Haven’t started it yet. Can’t be that hard though. You’ve done it a couple of times haven’t you? Not rocket science. I’ll probably knock one out in a week or so.’
So, what’s the most insulting thing someone has said to you about writing?
@PaulineTurner posted about filming short scenes for her book that was made into a series. She’s dress shopping for one character in the post.
So, what would your post/tweet/email about if your book was being promoted? Have you seen some particularly clever campaigns?
My agent, @AskAmyCollins posted a Calvin and Hobbes meme that says, “How old do you have to be before you know what’s going on?” Let’s unpack.
Samantha Marchand (@DancingFoxCrea1) posted that she finally sold a book this week. Not sure how long that journey has been but…
What surprised you the most about the number of books you sold? Where have you had the most success with sales? Why ar ebook sales so hard?
A few posts referencing the end-of-the-year and the upcoming new year. So, is it too early to be talking new year? To be closing out 2024? When does that actually happen?
